What info is required to make a purchase & how does the online checkout work? 

In order to purchase products through our Online Store, customers will need the following:

  1. Form of payment (see below)

  2. Contact email & phone number

  3. Canadian address & postal code

The Online Checkout features two (2) steps:

  1. Required Info (Contact Email, Name, Address, Postal Code)

  2. Discount Code Option, Shipping Selection, Credit Card Information

Upon completing these two steps, customers will receive a confirmation email including billing/shipping info, product ordered, and a receipt. As discussed under Shipping / Tracking, customers can expect a second confirmation email when the product has been officially shipped. 


What forms of payment are accepted? 

We currently accept payment via credit card or Interac E-Transfer. Credit card will be the default option at checkout and you may use Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. 

If you would prefer Interac E-Transfer, you can select it underneath the credit card option. To complete payment via E-Transfer, you will be asked to complete the following: 

1) You will need to set up a Interac E-transfer profile for Prairie Proud within your online banking using email "". Note, our Interac E-transfer account has been set up for AUTO DEPOSIT and therefore a security question will not be required to send payment.

2) You will be asked to send an Interac E-transfer for the exact TOTAL of your order (including shipping & taxes) to "" with the MESSAGE line indicating your unique five (5) digit order number (ex. #49420) found at the top of the order confirmation page.

3) If we do not receive payment via E-transfer within 24 hours, we will follow up via email. Note, your order will not be processed for PICK UP or SHIPPING until payment has been received


When will my credit card be charged?

All cards are charged immediately upon purchase to reserve the product in the order. Orders will then be filled upon the successful billing of the card based on the timeline provided under Shipping / Tracking


What security measures are taken with my personal / credit card information? 

All credit card purchases are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After this is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.


How do I use promo codes to receive discounts, free shipping, etc ? 

All promo codes can be used in Step 2 of our online checkout; before picking your shipping option, customers will have an option to enter and apply promo codes. Only one (1) promo code can be used per transaction.
